My Flooret LVP Floors One Year Later

I can’t believe it’s already been a year with my luxury vinyl plank (LVP) floors from Flooret! Before I get to my 1 year experience, let’s rewind a little. One of the most important factors in deciding what type of flooring we wanted was the fact that we have dogs. Big dogs lol. We knew we needed something very durable, easy to clean and waterproof for all their drool, but also very modern looking. The Flooret LVP was absolutely PERFECT.
When we first started looking at all of the selections that Flooret offered, it was super hard to decide, because they have so many good LVP plank collections. Understanding our lifestyle needs narrowed things down a bit. I knew we didn’t want dark floors because we have light colored hair dogs. And dark floors show everything. Knowing that I am always changing my wall colors lol, I wanted a floor that would complement a variety of paint colors as well. The great thing is that Flooret makes it super easy to order flooring samples (Click here to order samples)! After looking at a bunch of samples, I went with the Kingswood Signature. It has a tone that is modern, classic and warm, and still gives that hardwood look and doesn’t compete with the neighboring kitchen floor tile. The minimal knots and the larger plank size was also something that I liked, so that the floor will appear more seamless and modern.

These floors are super easy to DIY. We installed the floor ourselves over a weekend!
One of the cool things about LVP is that unlike hardwood floors, there’s no need for acclimation. So, we were able to get right to work when they arrived. After installing click and lock LVP at my sister’s hair salon, the hubs and I were confident about installation. This leads me to one of the BIGGEST selling points: These floors are super easy to DIY. We installed the floor ourselves over a weekend!

It’s good to know how well the LVP product holds up – and it sounds like they got a work out with the dogs! Thanks for sharing.
