3 Easy Ways To Style Your Table For The Holidays
Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks from now! And most of us by now have our menus planned out, but do you have your table setting decor planned as well? If not, keep scrolling for 3 easy ideas to get your tablescape looking amazing!! The best part is, everything is from one place…homedepot.com/decor!
First up is the formal table setting. I started by using a curtain panel (YES A CURTAIN PANEL) to dress the middle of the table. Just about everyone has a curtain panel laying around. But if not, you can grab mine at homedepot.com/decor. Be sure to use a sheer panel!
Every formal setting has to have a centerpiece! The Home Depot carries some amazing vases that really make a statement to any surface it sits on, or to anything you decide to put in it. So look for statement vases on homedepot.com/decor.
Next up, add in some tapered candles. Candles set the overall mood of the environment, so you’ll see them show up in all 3 table styles. But tapered candles specifically are just magical and can make any table feel fancy.
The most important element to any table setting is the dinnerware. I’m really loving the modern organic black stone design of this 8 person set. The simplicity of it, is what gives it a grand statement. Trust me, you bring these out during your gathering, everyone will ask you about it. And the best part is, they’re a part of The Home Depot’s Black Friday savings which is happening early this year…Nov 4th to be exact!
There’s something beautiful about brass flatware. There’s something even more beautiful about brass flatware wrapped in ribbon. Instead of laying out your knives and forks on the table, gather them together in a bunch and wrap them. It adds an experiential element to your dinner party.
And finally, add in glassware that varies in height. I found this 13 piece set that comes with a wine decanter. This beautiful glass set is also a part of The Home Depot’s early Black Friday savings!
So here’s the formal table setting. But let’s switch it up and make it more casual.
If you don’t want to be too fancy this Thanksgiving, opt to do a buffet table setting. In this style the food becomes the center of attention. Keep the dinnerware, tableware, and glassware in place, but switch out the floral arrangements for food. And where you can, keep the candles. Because again, candles set the mood of the environment and makes any space feel special. We air fried our whole chicken using the ARIA Air Fryer Toaster. You can catch that on a major sale at The Home Depot’s early Black Friday sale (happening right now). It’s a great gift to yourself or to someone else!
Now, if you don’t plan on doing a sit down dinner party you can still dress your table. Consider a dessert table setting. I was blown away at the amount of dessert trays and dessert sets that The Home Depot had to offer online.
From the “PARTY” tray, to the dessert caddy, to the ice cream cups, to the 3 tier cupcake stand, down to the glass cake stand, there’s something to hold every kind of dessert you can think of. Although everyone loves desserts, a dessert table just makes them look that much more delectable.
So…which table setting will you do this Thanksgiving?
