Our Kitchen Is Featured in Southern Living Magazine!

I just can’t believe it! We’re featured in Southern Living magazine y’all! I am so excited that one of my designs is being displayed like this. The kitchen is design is one of my most favorite and proud projects so far, so for it to be my first ever magazine feature is a treat!

The funny thing is, we didn’t even know it was going to come out. Quick story:

I was interviewed by Southern Living back in the summer about the kitchen. At that point, I did think it was going to be in a print mag. I’ve been grateful to be quoted in other digital and print media before, but this was something new. It was a major home magazine! After months of waiting, and several other interviews with Southern Living that wound up being digital contributions, I thought that they’d decided not to run the feature. I was truly happy that the digital quotes were being included on their website! Then last Friday Wednesday I got an email asking me If I’d seen the new March issue that was out on stands…to which I thought, no! They told me that my kitchen feature had been published, and I was simply shocked!

At this point I’m just grateful and overjoyed to be featured in such a well respected magazine like Southern Living. I was able to meet some of the folks who work there over the summer when I covered the Southern Living Adaptive Cottage for GE Profile, and they are truly sweet people.
