Take me back to last Sunday ☺️! I celebrated my 36th birthday with my husband and our two favorite couples in our backyard. Having luxury experiences with my friends is a way that we love on each other. But luxury doesn’t have to be pricey. I also buy things like tableware or flatware overtime that I really love, so when moments like this pop up I’m only buying a few things that’s needed to complete the theme. This was everything it looks like. I love sharing lux experiences with my close friends and @takeachef understood the assignment for my birthday. When I tell you everything was amazing! Chef Vasily was so personable and the food speaks for his talent. The Lobster Bisque with tarragon crème fraiche, brioche croutons, lobster salad, and micro greens was my favorite course. I was shocked that this level of dining could be made in our kitchen 😅. Of all the days baby girl is due to be earth side, will be a whole year to the day my friends left their comfortable homes to come pray over my womb. They prayed May 7th 2023 and she’s due May 7th 2024. She could be due any other day of the year, but God chose that day. I pray she comes that day despite many ppl saying babies don’t usually come on their due dates. I’ll be excited either way. I’m just amazed by how God confirms his voice in our life. At the time, no one knew what their obedience was going to lead to. But this has strengthened our faith to believe even more in prayer and to trust the voice of the Holy Spirit even when he’s stretching us to do things we don’t typically do. I LOVE my friends @itsjustmeashg @sharberri @living.as.we.r 🥹🥹. Life is generous! I pray that the Lord empowers you all to do the things your faith prompts you to do. I’m in the home stretch of the last few design p

I’m in the home stretch of the last few design projects before baby girl gets here. It’s been a privilege to help others with their homes. I’ve made lifetime friends with my clients. I enjoyed that part the most. And I’m looking forward to getting back to designing and finishing up the spaces in our home. I used to think I needed to have everything done before baby girl gets here, but I’m realizing more and more that my life won’t stop when she’s earth side, but will just evolve. I can’t even imagine the ways she will push my creativity. I’m looking forward to creating beautiful spaces with her by my side or rather with her on my side ☺️.

Here’s an after and before of my client’s kitchen. This project was fairly easy. It was more of a facelift, but the impact of the changes we made makes the space feel COMPLETELY different. He initially wanted just new countertops and appliances with some styling. I convinced him to take it up a few notches. He’s so happy with it and that makes my heart smile! What do you think???

Spring is here Y’all and that means it’s time for refreshing! @ruggable rugs are the perfect addition to give your space a fresh new look. Between letting the dogs lounge in the sun during the warmer months, and us having guests come and go more frequently, having a washable rug is perfect for all of the foot (and paw) traffic. Yes, they’re WASHABLE. I added this lovely neutral runner to our client’s guesthouse kitchen.
